RFP Questions & Answers
Q: Is there was a special bid format you are looking for.
A: Not particularly. Usually bid responses are single spaced and appear in the order indicated in Section VI of the RFP. Please submit response in a PDF format.
Q: Is the Solar Crowdsource commission fee paid at the beginning of the project or once project has completed?
A: The platform and administrative fee is paid at the beginning of each project. SCS will bill monthly (unless other arrangements are agreed upon). Any adjustments required for cancelled projects or contract changes are made towards the end of the campaign.
Q: For commercial, most of the projects are 100 kW or less due to GA Power restriction on system size. Is that the norm expected for Forsyth County? Is there a bond require for every project?
A: Generally, yes, this is correct, however the main utility in the Project Area is Sawnee EMC. There is no bond requirement that we are aware of.
Q: I missed the pre-bid meeting. Any chance I can still submit a bid?
A: Yes. Attending the pre-bid meeting is not required to place a bid. Links to a recording of the meeting and the pre-bid presentation can be found on this page above.
